Possibly the best indication that the owners are kind is the fact that they have very little staff turnover. They also don't mark up prices like they could in a food desert. (Anyone who has lived in Manchester knows how frustrating it is to buy a crazy expensive bottle of Kraft salad dressing from Rite Aid.) They have a good selection of meats, a nice little produce area, a small selection of canned and packaged goods, beer, wine, etc. All the usual suspects. I know Chimbo has a long and checkered history and many people have written it off, but it's definitely serving a good purpose and filling a huge hole in the middle of the food desert that is Church Hill.
